Synopsis
“A Soldiers Cross” Narrated by Reverend Dr. Ronald A. Sparks’ aka
“Sparky” Reverend sparks is also a Retired Army Colonel and A Vietnam
War veteran who has consoled soldiers for more than 40 years! “Sparky” as
he is well known, will narrate the reenactments of our soldiers wounded and
or, that lye dying on battlefields, through out the world. Many stories cut right
from his own personal experiences; Sparky has lived through, for over four
decades! In world war two, Korea and Vietnam, many soldiers war emblems,
depicting their faith, as well as their dog tags, most prevalent in world war
two, but just the same many continued to ware them in the latter wars.
Korea and Vietnam, even though priest Chaplains and Rabies where aware
of one’s Religious belief through their dog tags, these clergies where not
surprised to find Soldiers warring emblems that depicted their faith.
Subscribed on the backs of these emblems where described the words I am
a Catholic please call a priest, or also the same words for the Jewish soldier
asking for a Rabi, or a Christian just asking for a Chaplin or a certain
minister to say a prayer over them! Dr Sparks will guide us through these
Reenactments and explain in detail the horrors these Men and women must
have faced, their heroic contributions and how the Military will deal with their
grieving families, the soldiers healing process and the scars we cannot see!
These Reenactments will tell their stories as they where given to their
company commanders or how they where recorded in history! A soldiers
Cross-brings home the true story of how our men and women face the
battlefields, their heroic efforts and the true story of how they where
wounded or killed in the battlefields defending our country! A soldiers Cross
also helps bring to light the many faiths that our held dearly among our
countries finest men and women putting them selves in harms way, every
day of their lives, as soldiers engaged in our countries Battles through out
the world. The Cross-they bare and the Battles between their duty to our
country and their personal religious beliefs! Heart wrenching stories, Of
Soldiers, their sacrifices both fiscal and spiritual!
